This weekend we went to Branson, Missouri. Not to go the Silver Dollar City, but just to go to a hotel that was aobut 5 miles away from it. It was kinda sad knowing I was that close, but so far away. This was a spur of the moment trip so we didn't even know where we were going to be staying. We ended up at the Whispering Inn. Probably the biggest attraction was that they served cobbler at 9:00 pm and had free breakfast.
After we flung our 14 bags and suitcases around our rooms, we basically sat and watched the clock until cobbler time. It was good. We discovered that they had a cappacino machine, which we ended up having about 5 cups each that night. Then at 10:00, me and shannon went down again and stole the rest of the cookies.
Our room had the Light of God right outside our window, so me and shannon took the comforter off my bed and stuffed it around the window. This made it just dark enough that we could sleep.
Since we really didn't have any money to do anything, we went to a free tour at Stone Hill winery(I don't think that's how you spell it. It looks funny). Our tour guide reminded me of Corky St. Clair. It was really boring because we only saw three rooms and then we went to the wine tasting. I had to stand next to the wall with about 7 five-ten year olds and watch everyone else drink wine. It sucked. The only good thing that came out of it was that I bought a bottle of bubble bath called the Grapes of Bath. It looks like a little bottle of wine and it has a cork and everything. Its really cute. Plus, it has champagne in it so it smells really good. Marshall missed out on the conversation we had about it being soap and not actual wine, so he took the cork and licked it.
